Key Requirements and General Information

  • Reservations Required: You must book in advance to ensure a place on a tour. Walk up reservations are possible, based on availability.

  • Cancellation Policy: 72-hour notice for a full refund; otherwise, you receive a rain check. Weather/Road Conditions are not considered refundable events unless Coldstream Adventures cancels a tour due to weather/road conditions.

  • Age Restrictions:

    • Minimum age to operate a snowmobile: 16 years old.

    • 16 and 17 year-old operators need to present a valid driver's license upon check in.

    • Minimum passenger age: 5 years old.

  • Passenger Safety:

    • There are no seatbelts or handles on the snowmobiles.

    • Passengers must sit behind and hold onto the operator.

    • Guides cannot carry passengers.

  • Weight Limit: 360 lbs. per snowmobile (single or double).

  • Liability Waivers: Every participant must sign two separate waivers: one for Coldstream Adventures and one for Sierra Pacific Industries (landowner).

  • Snowmobile Damage Agreement: Every snowmobile operator (or the operator's parent/guardian) are responsible for all repair/replacement costs.
